Welcome to the Diyari website, which presents information about the language and culture of the Dieri people, whose traditional lands are in the far north of South Australia, to the east of Lake Eyre. An important place for Dieri is Lake Killalpaninna, near Cooper Creek.
On this site there are various resources resulting from our research on Diyari since 1974, including our work from 2021 to 2024 on the massive Diyari Dictionary created by Rev. J.G. Reuther and translated by Rev. P. Scherer.
